Alexandra is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in New York State. She graduated from Columbia University School of Nursing where she completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Upon completion, she was accepted into a Community Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Fellowship at CHN.
Additionally, she graduated with honors from New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Fordham University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Both her educational training and work experience has involved treating children and adults with a wide variety of mental health concerns, through the use of medication when necessary, therapy, or a combination of both. She has a focus on treating Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD, using a holistic and evidence-based approach.
Outside of clinical work, Alexandra is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing where she precepts current graduate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner students.
